Analyst (Associate), Project Development
We are seeking a high-performance Development Analyst/Associate to work on large-scale integrated solar + storage projects throughout the United States. The successful candidate will act as primary resource and contact for all aspects of the project development phase. For the right candidate, we are willing to teach the individual all aspects of the industry. We only seek highly mature, responsible, low-maintenance candidates that are able to travel up to 50% in rural areas. We highly value team loyalty. This is a scaleable position in which the candidate can move up to senior ranks.
Cradle-to-grave management, including: identifying and securing sites, project permits, tax abatements, interconnection positions, coordinating relevant studies, as well as forecasting and mitigating risks.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to run technical and financial models, including integrated energy storage models.
Keep abreast of IRPs, ESG programs of corporate offtakers, jurisdictional rulings, and other market-relevant documents; play an active role in augmenting our Market Analytics team.
Actively follow technical and economic trends that may impact projects, including site valuations, tax policies, CAPEX and OPEX costs, and energy storage technology.
Assist or lead business development activities, including responding to RFPs, representing the Company in pitch meetings, PPA draft sessions and conferences.
This is a field operations role where you must display independence and judicious thinking, often in an abstract environment. We are seeking a mature individual who is a self-starter, internally motivated, detail-oriented and exhibits trust and confidence. You must be able to communicate effectively with all areas of the organization, and understand the impact of your decisions.
Travel up to 50% will be required. Remote work is optional.
